Amazing chanel nail varnish collection

A girl could never have enough luxury items from beauty – accessories  – shoes- bags etc etc….

If its Chanel its just even better!  This is just one awesome collection….  @.@

Helpful tip to keep nail varnishes last longer store them in a mini fridge, it definetly works wonders.  

Also don’t shake the varnish up and down instead put bottle between 2 hands as if in clapping position.  With the varnish facing upright  and roll/rotate bottle from left to right.

Jimmy choo wedges

The weather is begining to get warmer and its about time to put the Ugg boots away and roll on spring!!! 

My buy of the day are these Jimmy Choo white patent wedges!!! 

Its a must have I am so just loving white at the moment.  These are very comfortable and goes with most outfits from maxi dresses to skinny cropped jeans. 

 

  

 

Every girls staple item.  With wedges you get the height and elongate your pins!!!! Its useful to have wedges for yummy mums with the pram they are comfortable enough to wear shopping.

Matcha Green Tea KitKat

 Just had one of the best Kitkat ive tried so far matcha flavour.  Been waiting to try for a long time as i use to see it all the time in supermarkets in Hong Kong every year i go.  

The mini individually wrapped chocolate was really nice reminded me of white creamy chocolate n tea.  It was creamy and not sweet, it was just the right taste not sweet.  It made me think its a healthier chocolate as not overly sweet like some chocolates can be. 


Would buy again!!! My rating on it will be 8/10

If you love green tea/ matcha flavour you shoild so try as you will be addicted.  A beauty element to it is its got antioxidants and feel good amino acids and anti-aging properties (matcha benefits) 


Next flavours in the range to try are:

  • Shizuoka wasabi
  • Tokai Red bean sandwhich

Bodyshop body butter

I so love the body butter moisturiser from The Bodyshop.  I have been through so many tubs since i discovered this lush product and they all smell so amazing and good enough to want to eat.  It mite not be to everyones taste but i personally love it.  

I’ve tried  these flavours:

  • Mango
  • Passion fruit
  • Brazil nut
  • Coconut
  • Olive
  • Orange
  • Strawberry
  • Cranberry
  • Sweet lemon
  • Buriti baby body butter

Currently i am using Buriti baby range because my eldest daughter at 2 years old still has bit of eczema on her arms and legs.  About 5 years ago i had a patch of dry skin on my elbows and i literally tried all sorts of creams & body lotions and nothing really helped ranging from high end brands to cheap brands.  I have tried lots.  

My cousin recommended me The Bodyshop range so using the scrub and body butter over couple months of use just after shower  or bath my dry skin patch disappeared.  I was so amazed!!!! So i would recommend it to my friends & family and now to share with who reads my blog!!! 

I have choosen the baby range for my daughter as well because it is just so gentle on skin and much improvement has been seen.  From dry raw red skin to now soft lovely skin.  My daughter is definetly less irritated and sleeps better.  

Its not overly perfumed the consistency is lovely its melts into the skin and gets obsorbed leaving a fresh non-sticky feeling.  This is really refreshing for the summer.  I put the cream in a mini fridge to keep it cool in the summer months so baby can feel cooling sensation.  

I have started using it myself when I was pregnant with my 2nd child as i developed the oregnancy rash at my 3rd trimester.  

Not sure if The Bodyshop still have this range as not seen it online but maybe try directly in store.  I have stocked up since last year as went a bit over the top.  I bought 10 tubs and aldo the mini tub to take in the diaper bag.

It’s just lovely to find a product that works!!!! In my opion it has worked wonders >.< 

I just love it!!!! So if you have same problems do try there range.

Hands 

Giving yourself a full manicure could be hard at times especially for moms with young children as you probably all know time is alqays not enough with endless chores. 

I would say i use to do my nails every week but since having 2 kids i don’t even get to do mine once a month idlf i am lucky. 

My nails and hands are just in a real bad state.  With endless washing babt bottles and washing hands from nappy changes , feeds, cooking, ckeaning etc… 

The other day whilst my babies where having a afternoon nap i decided to make time for myself and give myself some tlc on my hands. 

Manicure time.  

Exfoliated my hands with a OPI hand scrub.  This product left hands very soft and nice to touch.   It felt like skin has become smoother and skin looks brighter. 

  1. for my over grown curticles i used Ciate Beautiful cuticles.  I found this product really helped as my cuticles where in such a bad condition.  Leave cuticle remover for a couple minutes then using a orange stick with cotton wool attatched to the ends, gently  use  circular motions  and push back cuticles.  Trim off any excess skin with pair of nippers. 

This cuticle remover is one of the best ones I’ve used as it has done the  job really well.  
I did actually see the amount of skin   scapped off and removed.

moisturise your hands and  use Cuticle oil or almond oil/olive oil.

LED bling nails 

Finally after so long i got to use my LED nail kit.

It is so easy to use i love it. 

Instruction so easy to follow.

Step 1: File & buff nail

Step 2: Use gel cleanser, clean nail

Step 3:  Apply gel primer to nail and let it air dry

Step 4: Apply gel base& topcoat.  Also you need to cap the nail ( running  brush along the tip)

Step 5: cure for 30 seconds 

Step 6: Apply gel colour polish, cap, cure for 60 seconds.  Repeat Process once more and cure for another 60seconds.

Step 7: Apply gel base & top coat, cap, cure for 30 seconds

Step 8: Use gel cleanser and lint free wipes on all the nails to remove the residue. 

So thats all there is to it! Simple and easy.  I would rate this 8/10. 

It is definetly good for mums who have young kids as time is limited and there is just no faffing time to having let nails dry.  Previously when using normal nail polish i find it hard to not smudge my nails as dryng 2nd-3rd coat was a problem. 

Dunno if anyone feels the same!

So why not give it a go and try it yourself.  Just get some nail gems glue and stick them on your nails apply gel top& base coat and cure.  All in all both hands took me about 45 minutes as i could not decide on what i wanted.

All about eyecare 

As being a mum of a young toddler and baby sleeping has definetly taken the toll.  Having  4-5 hours sleep is the norm especially when kids fall ill or teething. 

Time is always limited to look after yourself and skin whilst being so exhausted 24/7.  From being so well maintained to very low  maintaince.

Not sure if other mums would agree? Sometimes its just hard to find time to see whats the latest buys on beauty products or fashion trends. 

So for me i find Sisley supremya yuex  (for night application) £175 eye serum works wonders at night although it comes with a price tag BUT its worth splashing especially if you are like me lacking sleep.  This works wonders and makes the skin around eyes feel so revitalised  and can feel skin tightening  and restored like instant eye lift effect. Eye bags and dark circles have slowly eased away as i am come to the end of my first bottle.  Only for night time application.  It works wonders whilst you sleep.   One bottle goes a long way. 

During mornings i use a Lancome Genifique serum.  With a wand applicator like the one you get with Creme De La Mer.  The wand application really refreshes the eyes in the morning as it helps eyes to feel awake with the eye massage motions.  



Then your ready for your other skincare routine and makeup application .  

Rating 

  • Sisley serum 9/10 
  • Lancôme serum 7/10

Bedtime cleansing routine

Bedtime cleansing routine normally takes me longer than my morning one.  

Like they say you should spend just as long throughly cleansing to putting on your make up. 

Step 1:  is to take my eye make up off i like using Rmk oil cleanser.  So i pump out on a cotton pad.  Place it over the eye and leave on the eye for couple minutes for oil to melt away, any make up n gently wipe from inner corner to outer corner of the eye swiping like a half moon shape.  But do it gently  as the eye area is the thinest skin so extra care is required.  You don’t want to drag ir pull the skin as later it may cause more fine lines and wrinkles.  

Repeat the step by turning cotton pads around.  Depending on how heavy your make up is. 

Step 2:  i like to use facewash to get rid of the oil cleanser.  I normally use the daily sislely exfoliator.  So just wet the face and squeeze a small amount on finger tips using little circular motions and rinse with luke warm water. Pat dry your face.

Step 3: i like to use sisley cleansing milk just pump out on your finger tips and massage into skin using small circular motions.  I tend to concentrate more around my t- zone areas as i have combination skin.  This light texture milk cleanser is very gentle on skin and with natural products after a couple minutes of rubbing the cleanser into face you should bd able to see other residue of makeup melt away.  Tissue off gently and rinse face with cold water.  Skin should now be clean, refreshed and smooth!!! 

Step 4: Finally use the Sisley toner on a cotton pad all over face and neck.  Thats all it is the 4 steps to cleansing your way to beautiful skin.

So happy with my latest Jimmy Choo rebel handbag! Colour blue… Silver hardware.  It is just the right size for a small purse, iphone and keys….

I love this bag due to size as just compact enough for my essentials.  I normally love a big oversize bag.  It is very versatile can b carried like a mini satchel or across the body like a messenger or even hiding the straps to turn it into a clutch. 



 this bag is ideal for trendy mums as you would know you will have a big diaper bag so havin this bag to put phone n purse is ideal.  As i know i have struggled to find my essentials when just taking a diaper bag!!! It can style out any outfit.  When babies grow up you can still use the bag for work, special evenings/occassions etc… This will not be out of fashion it would only become a classic piece for any girls wardrobe… 

You cannot go wrong with a jimmy choo bag. A girl can never have too many… 😉
