Burts Bee 🐝 Almond & Milk Hand cream


This Almond and Milk Hand Cream by Burt’s Bee was recommended to me by a friend who knows I Have been suffering from eczema on my top middle finger.  Skin would become extremely itchy and little bubble red spots will appear on the surface of the skin, it is extremley uncomfortable.  Also no matter how much I moisturise my skin it will still become dry you can sit and watch the skin actually cracking apart and this is one of the most painful experiences as its on the knuckle areas upwards so skin is pulling all the time.  

Especially being a mum I wash and sanitise my hand a hell of a lot and most of time have no time to moisturise my hand.  One tip I have picked up is to dry hands very dry, DO NOT let water stay on your skin as this dries it out even more causing skin to become even drier. 

I have used some of Burts Bee 🐝 products but not the hand cream/balm range they have the almond milk one.  They also do a bananna one which has the same balm consistency. 

As you can see in the picture it is quite thick texture, this is particularly good for night time so it can be absorbed into the skin deeper.  Maybe on eczema areas you could try putting a thick layer on so it acts as a barrier to the skin.  

 You may find the product quite greasy and thick but this is expected in a balm in order to stick on the skin and replenish the moisture.  Hence why this is particularly nice for bedtime, if however you find it too oily it maybe worth investing in some cotton gloves to wear to bed.  

The cotton gloves wull help lock in more moisture making hands baby soft in the morning.  Personally I have gone through so many pots and i can say my finger with eczema has been kept under control with no major flair ups and dry painful cracks.  another tip would beto use throughout the day so it forms a good barrier from water drying out the skin.

This product is just so nice I would rate it 8/10  as the only downfall for me is the smell on the product, it does take a little getting use to as its natural ingredients.  If you want to try the product but sceptical you could wait till christmas sales when you get the miniatures or sale prices as it be so much cheaper. 

Why not try it yourself if you suffer eczema or dry skin.

Korean Beauty Skin Product: Elizavevva CF-Nest 97% B-jo Serum Review

Love the cute packaging from this product, this caught my attention online on ‘Yes it had to be bought as I love Korean skincare products.  

Just so much cutiness in the package just love it in everyway, just hoping the product will do wonders.  

I have tried this over a period of time of 6 months. 

Only a tiny amount of the serum is required on each application.  The product is very cooling when applied to fully cleansed skin and absorbs amazing quick and does not leave a sticky residue like some product.  

I like to pop the product on the back of my hand then transfer the product to bith of my hands finger tips and gently pat it into my skin.  I think the patting in helps to perk up the skin as well as with circulation.  The skin should feel quite refreshing with no sticky residue like some serums.  This absorbs quick! 

You can see from picture above on how its leaves skin soft and smooth. Overall I do think this product is excellent to use and I would recommend to friends as a good buy and not costing a lot so definetly wouldnt break the bank.  

It definetly reminds me of the korean sheet masks you can buy, the product without the mask.   It is like having that mask done everyday but in a bottle of serum. Rating this item a good 8/10 but this is my own personal opinion as it worked for my skin.

M.A.C Mariah Carey Make-up

Totally in love with this range of MAC launched Decemeber 2016. Some of the stuff was sold out within it going on the website.  I have to say i definetly understand why some pieces where sold out they are just so beautiful.  
I just couldn’t wait to get my hands on them luckly I have my greatest friend that manage to snap up the lipstick and lipgloss for me! 


The packaging is definelty so Bling and just sums up the lavish glam lifestyle Mariah Carey has.  I love my nude lipstick and glosses because they are so versatile you can mix wiv darker shades on your lips and with the gloss you can put it on bare lips or over any lipstick colours to give it a different look.  Hence why i always go for nude pale colours, it works good for me as i am quite fair skined.

If you can still get your hands on these products i would definetly ssy its worth the purchase you would not be disappointed.

Eve Lom Eye Lift Cream 

I finally finished my Eve Lom eye lift for eyecream.  It did take a long time to finish due to only needing the tiniest amount for around the eye area. 

I actually found this product does wonders as it was just perfect non-greasy and at the same time moisturising that left the eye area wrinkle free and smoothed away fine lines.  I did notice a huge difference in the eye area it was left looking better than ever.  
With some products I’ve tried in the past years always seem to get milia around eye area.  Milia are whiteheads which is pearlish white or yellowish bump on skin which you can see either in clusters on on its own it is found in many common places around eyes, forehead and other parts of the body.  Some will clear up by themselves over a period of time but if you do have concerns you can seek help from beautician to to get it extracted or other forms of treatments seek medical advice. 
I will definitely purchase this product againto keep   milia at bay and tell my friends to try this product themselves.  You will see results within weeks.  Product 10/10 I just cannot fault the product I love it.  This is a review with my personal opinion and it has helped my skin.

Chanel foundation/powder brush

Want to say thanks to my special friends for recommending this foundation brush it is a must have.  I have a simular MAC one but this seems to be more luxury, love the box love the protective pouch it come with.  Ideal for taking it on my travels or just in my make up bag so bristles dont get damaged. 

Used a bit of liquid base to see how well the brush picks up the product

 The brush  In my opinion is worth the investment as it is quality and I am guessing this brush should last for years and years.  The bristles are nice and soft enough to evenly glide over your face for a even coverage.  

I am so in love 😍 with it!!!!

Don’t forget to wash your brushes on a regular basis to eliminate cross contamination of the brushes.  They should be done at least once a week I use one i bought from the Beauty show whi h i will post up a review in next couple weeks.

Korean Skincare shopping Haul 


My very latest korean skincare haul.  I can’t wait to try these new products espcially now the weather is changing to more cold weather I think my skin needs somthing new.  

Have you always used the same skincare for years?  Well for myself I have always like to change as I always see new things on the market that I want to try.  Does this sound familiar to you? I just love trying new products (it is my bad habit) 

I would say sometimes switching to new products is good as it gives skin a different boost as using one product for too long the skin may well loose the effectivness. Like they say about shampoos for hair, you have to change sometime and then re-use the original one you are use to, to get the best effect .  I personally think this for my skincare products. 

  Hence why I change one product of my skincare rather than changing to whole one brand of skincare stuff then I can mix and match what works best for me.  

I will reveiw the different products as pictured above another day as I have not has time to start.  

But I am super excited to see if they can help me improve my skin. Being a busy working mum of 2 toodlers is not the best combination to anti aging I dothink kids do seriously age you as you are more drained and careless about the usual skincare routine as whenever you have a moment you either want ‘me time’ to chill or catch up on sleep.

Tony Moly Panda Eye Cooling Stick

This Tony Moly Panda Eye cooling stick is just so cute it is definetly a must have all time rounder in any girls make up bag! 

It is a fabulous product, for people who know me and reads my blog as a working mum this is a life saver.  I seriously suffer sleep deprivation most nights due to work and looking after two young toodlers. 

My eyes are normally quite dry due to using the laptop and also because of contact lenses.  I keep this product in my make up bag so whenever i feel bit tired or needa be more awake I just sweep it over my eyes to wake me up.  This does work instantly as it is very cooling effect.

You have to take off the clear cap on the top and replace after each application

Eyes will feel refreshed and renergised.  I normally put it oven my eyes woth make up on but i do wear waterproof eyeliner so there are no smudges.

After  sweeping over your eyes I tend to like to get a clean tissue and give the top of the stick and wipe just purely because of hygiene.  The last thing you want is any eye irritation or infection in worse case sanario.  So avoid sharing eye make up products. 

I love this product and i will definetly buy again and look into investing on the other products in this range.  The packaging is super cute and modern I was so drawn to buy snd now re-buyig the product.  Rating  7/10.👍👍👍👍  definetly reccomended especially if you work in a office environment looking at a computer screen all day.

I love Sasatinnie Cucumber Refreshing & Clarifying Sheet Mask

Cucumber refreshing mask so nice to have on your face especially when its come out striaght out the fridge on these muggy hot nights.  Perfect for a refreshing cooling mask.  

So after shower and fully cleansed and moisturised skincare routine of tone and moisturising yout just unravel the mask and place it over your face.

Once your happy where you positioned your mask you can sit back or lay down to relax for the next 15-20 minutes.  

After the 20 minutes relaxation just peel off the mask and massage in the excess product. Its always good to have some ‘ME time.’ 

You can choose to rinse your face afterwards but i tend to not rinse afterwards but some people find that some of the masks leave a sticky residue on the skin.  

I love this particular sheet mask as it was quite refreshing to the skin and skin felt more alive after.  Sheet masks are great on the go whilst travelling or putting on a night before a big event etc… Give it a go and dunt forget for the more colder autums you can buy hydrating sheet masks too. 😜

My latest buy are these Miu Miu sandals for for summer.  Most ideal to show off your a perfect pedicure and polish, so make sure your feet are looking good and well moisturised.  For those who are lazy like me or should i say mums that are so tied down with childcare you may want to try the Burts Bee footcare range.  See my review of the product. The ankle strap was a bit loose so I needed to add more holes just for a more snug fit.   Its a bit loose although my ankles are not super skinny.  This is the problem i get with most sandals that have a strap around the ankle. 

In general the fitting of the sandals are not to bad although i would have prefered it with a more cushioned insole as it was a bit too solid and flat. It has its bonus of a non-slip insole which is good.  Ideally i think it is a little too flat but perfect for a stroll on the beach. 

In general they where a good buy.  

So why not get your perfect designer sandals for this summer to show off your pedicure.  For my own pedicure i used the new summer Calgel range colours LA Loving. 

6/10 rating due to the fact the shoe could of been more comfortable if not as solid but i can tell with Miu Miu they are hardwaring and ensured with quality. Cant go wrong with this buy.
